My first automobile was a black 4 door 1964 Chevy Bel Air. Similar to the photo above

Next came a bright yellow 1972 Ford Maverick 'Grabber'. I drove this car when I moved from Kentucky to Ohio.

# 3 was the car I had always wanted..... a Mustang! A blue 1973 Mustang coupe.

Next up was a green 1973 2 door Chevy Impala. It had a white vinyl roof and looked like a upside down frog... we called it 'Froggy'.

Actually, for a short time, I owned the 72 Maverick, the 73 Mustang, and the 73 Chevy, all at the same time. That was too many cars for single 21 year old. I sold the Maverick and the Mustang, got married and bought a house. It was time to start growing up.

We needed another car, so we got the 'big blue' 4 door 1968 Ford Galaxy from my parents.

Next was a 'little blue' 1975 Mercury Monarch. We drove it when we moved from Ohio to Texas.

Then I bought my first new vehicle. A beige 1984 Nissan Pickup.

Next we traded the Monarch for a 4 door 1982 Chevy Impala. "Never buy a car in the dark". It took a lot of work to fix this one, but it turned out very nice. It was totaled in a wreck not long after I finished it.

We bought a blue 1985 Mercury Grand Marquis to replace the wrecked Chevy.

We replaced the Grand Marquis with a Black & Silver 1986 Chevy S-10 Blazer.

Next was a dark blue 1989 Ford Aerostar minivan. We got it from my work when they sold it at the end of the lease. We drove this one to our new home in Alabama. It was the first of 3 Aerostar vans. They worked out well for our little family of four.

Then we bought a beige 1995 Aerostar.

In 1996 we bought a Jade Green 1969 Ford Mustang. This was to be the car that our boys would help me fix up. Justin drove it to high school, and so did Bryan. After Justin's death, this car became a special connection to him. We still have it in the family, and probably always will.

We bought Bryan this Satin Green 1998 Mustang GT Convertible for him to drive to college. This is actually Bryan's car, but I include it in my list because I love Mustangs!
